My Favorite Things About Angelfire

McDonald's has made billions from its burgers and fries, all while accruing reports of labor violations and ethical misconduct.

McDonald's has taken strides forward in recent years to address some widely criticized practices, particularly in regards to the environment. In 2003 McDonald's announced a new purchasing policy that restricts the use of growth hormones and antibiotics in its meat. The company uses some recycled content in its food packaging, and claims to reduce its solid waste output by an average of 8.5 million pounds per year.

However, McDonald's toys are still being produced with sweatshop labor, transparency around McDonald's food products is still lacking, and the healthfulness of its food is questionable at best.
